Refuse to Give Up
I didn’t start this newsletter to fill your inbox with Instagram quotes, but every once in a while, something sticks. Recently, I came across this:
"A perfect marriage is just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other."
Simple, but powerful.
At TRAIN HARD, we talk a lot about discipline, capability, and becoming the best version of yourself. Fitness isn’t just about aesthetics or performance—it’s a catalyst for becoming a better husband, father, and leader.
The world needs better, stronger, more capable men. Men who step up as good husbands and fathers.
While strong women are leading in incredible ways, our mission at TRAIN HARD is clear: to help men rise to the challenge.
Strong Partnerships Build Strong Men
Being a better man starts with being a good husband. Showing up as the partner your spouse deserves makes you both an unstoppable team. It helps you tackle tough times, raise strong, capable kids, and stay level-headed when life throws curveballs (because it will).
Personally, I don’t know where I’d be without my wife. I’m far from perfect, but Ashley has never given up on me—and I’ll never give up on her.
Together, we use fitness to show up as the best versions of ourselves. We know the difference between who we are when we take care of ourselves and who we become when we don’t. It’s that acknowledgment that makes us better as a team.
Even when we disagree or stumble, we both know we’re aiming for the same destination, and we know we are both trying our best.
Ultimately, that’s always what matters.
A Daily Reminder
This quote is a good reminder of why I do what I do. I know I fall short sometimes, but knowing I have someone in my corner who will never give up on me pushes me to keep improving.
And that person deserves my best effort, every single day.
That’s why I TRAIN HARD.
It’s why I started this brand.
This is the message we want to amplify: Show up for yourself so that you can show up for your family.
Never lose sight of the people who count on you most.
