Why Never Zero?

For over a year, we have sent out the NEVER ZERO Newsletter with the intention of inspiring our community to stay on the path and never let their momentum get to zero, no matter the obstacles or circumstances.

Today, I want to revisit the first newsletter we ever sent out because we are entering a time of the year when this message couldn’t be more critical.

So here is a reminder of why NEVER ZERO—a message that went out on August 15th of last year and couldn’t be more relevant today as we head into the holiday season.

So why is this idea of never letting your momentum get to zero such a big deal?

In physics, a law states that an object in motion stays in motion, and an object at rest stays at rest. This isn’t just a law of physics; it’s a powerful metaphor for how I approach my life.

In our daily lives, it’s easy to slow down and fall into complacency, especially during seasons of life that are busier than others. Maybe you’re tired from a long day or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of work, family, and your fitness goals.

This is when most people get overwhelmed and stop the momentum in its tracks. They let their progress get to zero, and then, in the blink of an eye, they realize that they’ve let themselves go, and getting back on track feels almost impossible.

The idea of Never Zero means you can slow down, but you never stop. Even on your most challenging days, you can still take a step forward, no matter how small. It might be as simple as choosing a nutritious meal over junk food or reading a chapter of a book instead of watching TV.

Every positive choice keeps your momentum alive.

Remember—only you can let your momentum get to zero.

Keep moving, never stop, and no matter what, TRAIN HARD.
